David Haye's second pursuit of the Klitschko brothers will start against Manuel Charr on 29 June, while the British heavyweight has confirmed a "long-term relationship" between his camp and promoter Eddie Hearn.
Hayemaker Boxing released a statement last night saying 28-year-old Lebanon-born Charr, who has won all but one of his 24 bouts, would be Haye's opponent for his comeback fight in Manchester.
Haye's ultimate goal is a title bout against either Vitali or Wladimir Klitschko – who beat him on points in 2011 –and a face-off against Charr will get him onto the road to becoming a mandatory challenger.
Charr's only professional defeat came against Vitali in September last year. He is ranked eighth in the world, two places below Haye.Reuse content
