Skiing: Maze secures World Cup win
Tina Maze clinched the overall World Cup when she won a women's super-combined event yesterday. Fastest in the morning downhill, the Slovene secured her position in the afternoon slalom for her ninth win of the season.
It took a while to sink in for Maze, who had a stomach bug and did not know the World Cup was at stake. "I was in a bad way and didn't believe I would make it to the finish. I just tried to get down as quickly as I could," she said.
