Sebastian Coe's election as chairman of the British Olympic Association was assured last night when his only opponent withdrew.
Richard Leman, a BOA board member, pulled out of the race to succeed Colin Moynihan. Lord Coe's appointment will be rubber-stamped at the next board meeting on 7 November.
