David Dunn did his hopes of a new contract with Blackburn Rovers no harm at all by firing a dramatic equaliser deep into stoppage time yesterday to secure a point against bitter rivals Burnley. This was a result and a match that defied form and logic, but then Southampton under Mauricio Pochettino seem to have made that something of a speciality.
