Ford launches Focus Zetec-S for the UK

Ford has launched the Zetec-S, a new variant of the Focus developed specifically for UK buyers. The company has for some years attempted to simplify its global operations by offering the same models around the world under its “One Ford” programme, but occasionally it has to make the odd concession to local market tastes, and the new model is an example of this.

The AA said that another 2p to 3p rise is in the pipeline from recent wholesale price increases, and a Government 2.3p fuel duty and VAT increase is due on September 1.
