Madrid-born Benitez has experience of managing in the English, Spanish and Italian top-flights and his CV boasts a Champions League title, the FA Cup and a European Super Cup along with two Primera Division titles and the Uefa Cup with Valencia. The former Liverpool, Inter Milan and Los Che coach is currently in charge of Chelsea on an interim basis until the end of the season and, if Mourinho does indeed move to Stamford Bridge, it would be a neat switch if Benitez goes the other way.
