A look ahead to tonight's FA Cup Third Round replay at St Andrews

Bill Shankly (Liverpool 1959-74)
Shankley took over Liverpool at a time when they were languishing in the Second Division. By 1962 he had won the league and gained promotion into the top flight. Just two years later the side clinched their sixth league title, before winning the FA Cup for the first time in their history in 1965 with a 2-1 defeat of Leeds. Shankly added to his league titles in 1966 before repeating the success in 1973 as well as winning the club their first European trophy with the UEFA Cup in the same season, beating Borussia Monchengladbach 3-2 on aggregate. In the following year they finished second in the league but won the FA Cup, beating Newcastle 3-0 in what proved to be Shankly's last game in charge as he soon retired.
