The artworks revel around strong creative ideas, fusing mediums such as painting, sculpture, drawing, video, performance and installation with architecture, design, fashion, gastronomy, literature and cinema. In 2011 there are 120 galleries exhibiting works and more than 48,000 visitors are expected to attend. Other notable art fairs taking place in Paris in 2011 include Le Salon D'Automne (October 12-16), FIAC (October 20-23), Cutlog (October 20-23) and Paris Photo (November 9-13).
