Freedom hook up with Hard Times for a marathon eight-hour event. You'll more than likely need Monday's bank holiday to recover from this one.

For those of you with short memories, Hard Times attracted revellers from across the country to their weekly gigs in Leeds. Their passion for slick parties, coupled with an unwavering love of garage, attracted the best DJs in the world before they switched off last year.

Freedom just keeps packing the punters in every week at one of the biggest venues in London. It's a gargantuan club, comprised of a myriad of rooms and floors... it took me three visits to realise that there was more than the three main arenas.

Tuff Jam, Hard Times favourite, CJ Mackintosh and Danny Rampling headline the event.

With a long weekend to look forward to, you've simply no excuse to be indoors this weekend.

This gig is a great place to start the fun but arrive early as the queue will surely be massive for this one-off.

SUGARCANDY @ the cross

If you prefer your club venues a little more intimate then Sugarcandy at The Cross is for you. Farley "Jackmaster" Funk headlines in addition to a DJ set from the Freestylers. The music policy is a hybrid of house, twisted disco and funky breaks that will have your hands in the air in no time. These gigs can always be relied upon to attract a good-looking crowd - make sure you take plenty of sparkle to the party.

WESTWOOD'S EASTER JAM @ astoria

If you prefer your beats with a little more attitude, Westwood's latest jam provides eight hours of phat hip-hop. The dress code will be raw just like the beats, so urban garments are fine if you don't fancy dressing up. Westwood, with LJ in support on the decks, can always be relied upon to mix up the tunes, so you'll hear the hardest R'n'B rap mixed with old skool dancefloor fillers and grimy East coast beats, and even a few reggae vibes .
