COMPETITION: DETAILS No 339
In which painting by which painter can you find this head?
Details 337 came from Tintoretto's The Miracles of St Mark: the Discovery of the Saint's Body (1562-66). According to legend, the saints' remains turned up in Alexandria in the ninth century and were removed to Venice. The picture is in the Brera in Milan.
The first three correct entries came from Sarah Barrell of London W10; Laraine Simpson of St Helen's; and DS Cooper of Blackburn.
Each will receive a bottle of champagne, as will this week's winners. Answers, on a postcard (to arrive by Wed 11 Jun), to: DETAILS 339, IoS, 1 Canada Square, London E14 5DL.
