Edinburgh Festival: Apparently . . .
The Gilded Balloon is not allowed to release the name of one of the performers on next week's rotating bill of Women in Comedy. The ruling comes from the mystery comic's management, who presumably want to safeguard ticket sales for her show at the Playhouse next week. A source at the Gilded would only say that she's 'very big' . . . Australian Opera's production of Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream is so popular that punters have been queuing overnight for tickets . . .
