LAW STUDENT, 23

I thought it was very good, although it was a pity about the hecklers. It was taking off really nicely and then a guy started to give him grief which he dealt with very well. I think the show relies on hecklers, and if you can bounce it off lots of different people it probably works quite well, but if it's just one blasted cluster which won't shut up then its quite hard to keep it going.

DOCTOR, 23

I thought it was very good. I think the beginning was fantastic: he kicks off being mad, completely over the top, but you're still with him when he's going mad. But the hecklers threw him: he crumbled in the middle and lost his footing. He picked it up towards the end though, and I'd see him again. No, it was good.

BRIAN NICOL

RETIRED ACADEMIC, 69

I thought it was very witty. The hecklers seemed to be part of the show. My only criticism is that he didn't seem to have come in with any material and made it up as he went along. I'd like him to come in with material and build on it, rather than to pick it out of the audience. On the whole he did very well and I laughed quite a lot which is unusual.

HECTOR MUIR

IT CONSULTANT, 23

I thought it was wonderful. I think it was a shame that hecklers interrupted so much, but generally the show went well although obviously it would have been much better had he had a quieter audience. But everyone was obviously up for him and it was great.
