FILM / Eric Rohmer Competition: Seasons greetings
Last year the veteran film director Eric Rohmer, famed for his witty and literate 'moral tales' and 'comedies and proverbs', launched a new film cycle with A Tale of Springtime. Next month the cycle continues with his critically acclaimed A Winter's Tale, which opens on 1 January at the Renoir cinema. We have 10 free pairs of tickets for the evening performance of the opening night, plus 10 posters, videos of A Tale of Springtime and bottles of wine donated by Beaujolais Wines.
Tickets go to the first 10 readers to answer correctly this simple question about one of Rohmer's earlier films: which part of Claire's anatomy became an erotic fixation? Answers, on a postcard, to: Artificial Eye competition, Listings, The Independent, 40 City Road, London EC1Y 2DB.
