A conceptual comedy by Lars von Trier is not a prospect to gladden the heart. This takes off from a quite promising idea – the owner of an IT firm wants to sell up, but anticipating hostility from his staff he hires an actor to play the "real" boss.

Von Trier has evidently been watching The Office, and replicates both its soulless setting and fly-on-the-desk camera-style, not to mention the Brentian fear of being unpopular. Trouble is, it's not very funny, despite some admirably deadpan acting from the office workers.
