Jennifer Lawrence is rumoured to be discussing joining the all-female Ocean’s Eleven remake with Sandra Bullock.

The Silver Linings Playbook actress, if confirmed for a role in the remake, would be reunited with her Hunger Games director Gary Ross, who she reportedly attempted to join for two other movies that did not get made.

Ms Bullock is rumoured to be set to play the lead character in the film, in which she would take the role of the criminal sister of Danny Ocean (George Clooney) from the previous Ocean’s films, Inquisitr reported.

The script, which is reportedly being penned by Little Women screenwriter Olivia Milch, will reportedly see Ms Bullock arrange the theft of a necklace from the Met Ball in New York City, and an attempt to frame a lowlife gallery owner for the crime.

It is believed that Ms Lawrence, if she accepted a role in the movie, would be set to play Ms Bullock’s sidekick – although in the grand tradition of the Ocean’s franchise, which has always pulled in big-name actors, there are sure to be plenty of meaty roles for all the stars involved.

Mr Clooney, who will take a producing role in the remake, is also rumoured to be getting some screen time, although it is thought he may adopt a cameo purely to link the films together.

There has been no word on whether his co-stars Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Julia Roberts and Don Cheadle will return to the fold, or who the other 10 female stars will be.
