A host of film props are set to be auctioned off by distribution company A24 to raise money for the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

A jewel-encrusted Furby pendant from Uncut Gems and the hoodie worn by Zendaya in HBO’s coming-of-age series Euphoria are two of the higher-profile items on offer.

There’s also the flowery “May Queen” gown worn by Florence Pugh’s character at the climax of Midsommar, the unearthed time capsule from Eighth Grade, and the carved wooden mermaid from The Lighthouse.

Money raised from the auction will go to four New York-based charities: the FDNY Foundation, Food Bank for New York City, NYC Health + Hospitals, and Queens Community House.

Items from the films Hereditary and Mid90s will also be available to bid for.

The auction is taking place on a website set up especially for the occasion, beginning at 5pm GMT on 22 April 2020.

A24 aren’t the only ones doing their part to raise money to help battle Covid-19.

Tickets to be in the audience for the hotly anticipated Friends reunion special are being auctioned to raise money for the cause.

Baby Driver star Ansel Elgort posted a naked picture to Instagram, encouraging fans to donate to a fundraising page, and earned almost £200,000 before the photo was removed by the website.
