Dakota Johnson laughs off wardrobe malfunction: 'It's not like anyone here hasn't already seen my boobs'

Fifty Shades of Grey actress Dakota Johnson suffered a wardrobe malfunction at an awards ceremony this week, but dealt with it pretty wittily.

As she accepted her award for Favourite Dramatic Movie Actress at the People's Choice Awards in LA, her dress appeared to come loose as she was congratulated by fellow actresses Leslie Mann and Alison Brie.

Turning to the audience, she explained through laughs, "Leslie [Mann] broke my dress."

She quickly followed-up: "Well, it's not like nobody here hasn't already seen my boobs."

Her remark received a rapturous response from the assembled crowd, the majority of whom had almost certainly seen her bare-all performance in the adaptation of E.L. James' erotic novel opposite Jamie Dornan.

Directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson, the film was a huge success ending 2015 as the eighth biggest UK release of the year, as well as becoming the highest-grossing 18-certificate film of all time.

Both Johnson and Dornan are down to return for the film's sequel, Fifty Shades Darker, which is due for release in 2017.
