Top Gun: Maverick - Trailer

Film fans who sit through the end credits will always notice familiar names should they pay attention.

Considering how tough it is to actually get a film made, it’s no surprise that directors receive some assistance from their peers in the industry.

So, when it comes to showing their appreciation, these people are usually featured in the “special thanks” section of the credits.

Look closely, and there’ll always be a handful of recognisable names – be it other writers, directors and, in many cases, actors.

But, which screen stars have been thanked the most? A new finding from Planet 7, collated using IMDb Star Meter, reveals the identity of the top 10.
