It may well be every Batman fanboy’s dream, but if you want to get your hands on one you’ll need to be a Bruce Wayne level playboy; a street legal Batmobile has gone on sale for one million dollars.

The limited edition concept car is a replica of the high tech ‘Tumbler’ Batmobile that features in Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins.

Unlike the one from the movie, this car doesn't shoot fire and rockets - It does however pack an LS1 eight cylinder engine which powers four rear wheel 44 inch super swamper tires.

On the practicality side - if that’s ever a consideration for someone driving a Batmobile - the vehicle features five drive assistant cameras, as well as GPS navigation.

Having suddenly appeared on the luxury goods website James Edition along with a short description and just two images, as of yet, no information has been provided about the manufacturer.

What it does say is: “It is a limited edition of only 5 worldwide! We have built this insane vehicle to be street legal however please understand that this is not a daily driver!”

Not one to take the kids to school in then.
