Frozen 2 - Trailer 4

The first reactions to Frozen 2 are in.

Idina Menzel, Kisten Bell and Josh Gad have all returned for the sequel that will follow Elsa and her sister Anna as they embark on an adventure far away from the kingdom of Arendelle.

Judging by the response from critics who saw the film at a preview screening, fans are in for another animated treat.

Disinsider editor-in-chief Skyler Shuler called the film “better than its predecessor”, while another saying critic said the song “Into the Unknown”, performed by Menzel and Panic! At The Disco, is even catchier than “Let It Go”.

Moviefone writer Drew Taylor confirmed that Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) finally gets his own song.

Forbes was less kind. Writer Scott Mendelson believes the film isn’t as good as the original.

You can see a collection of reactions to the new film below.

Evan Rachel Wood and Sterling K. Brown have also joined the cast of the new film, with the former playing Elsa and Anna’s late mother in flashbacks.

Frozen 2 will be released on 22 November 2019.
