Morgan Freeman shows what it would sound like if God broke up with you
'My mama don't like you and she likes everyone'
Universally recognised as one of the greatest voices of all times, Morgan Freeman has used his Godly lungs to narrate the journey of some penguins, voiceover the presidential campaigns of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton and now to break up with you.
Well, Freeman’s not actually breaking up with you, he’s just dramatically reading the lyrics to Justin Bieber’s song “Love Yourself” for Vanity Fair to support his latest film, London Has Fallen.
“I’m going to do a dramatic reading from a very popular songwriter,” the actor begins. He then begins the minute long reading, featuring a nearly tearful Morgan Freeman.
The 78-year-old recently told Jimmy Kimmel just how he got his brilliant voice: “I went to school,” he explained. “To study how to be an actor and in that school, Los Angeles City College, I had a voice and diction instructor who was very good at his job and so you had to learn to speak and sound your final consonants, things like that.”
In the same segment, he narrated pedestrians walking in LA to hilarious effect.
