She just shared a quick scene with Kenneth Branagh in Wallander as the killer’s wife.
But she got her big break when she was championed by Willy Russell to play Rita in Educating Rita at the Menier Chocolate Factory, a role which won her a nomination for Outstanding Newcomer at the Evening Standard Theatre Awards in 2010.
Now she takes on her second major West End role in Max Stafford-Clark’s revival of Our Country’s Good.
