Who’s ready for a trip down memory lane? It’s been almost 23 years since the theatrical release of Aladdin, yet the cast have never performed the phenomenal hit “A Whole New World” live - that is until now.

To celebrate the re-release of the Disney classic, the cast and crew reunited to do a set of interviews on Good Morning America. There were two major talking points: the first of which was the never-before-seen clips of Robin Williams in the vocal booth as the Genie.

The second was Brad Kane and Lea Salonga, the singing voices behind Aladdin and Jasmine, performing their duet “A Whole New World” for the first time since the movie's release. They also had original composer - and multi-Oscar winner - Alan Menken on piano.

Prepare to get emotional. The song starts at around the 1.58 mark.

Nostalgic? Listen to the original version below.

The digitally remastered version of the film, featuring the outtakes, will be available to purchase on Blue-Ray 13 October in the US.
