A nugget of information was revealed yesterday that serves as something of an unexpected game changer.

Steve Stoute, the CEO of marketing firm Translation, was speaking to radio station Hot 97 when he casually dropped into the conversation that Justin Timberlake was not the person behind renowned McDonald's jingle 'I'm lovin' it.' Instead, he stated that hip-hop musician Pusha T was the one to thank for one of the world's most famous jingles.

Following everybody's confusion, the rapper's representative has since confirmed the fact to Rolling Stone.

As most people have done for the past 13 years, interviewer Ebro Darden attributed the jingle to Justin Timberlake and former Neptunes star Pharrell Williams largely in part due to the former's 2003 single of the same name. Stoute was correct to correct him, however.

"You know who did that? Pusha T. That's crazy that Pusha T wrote the song to McDonald's!"

One may think that Pusha T - real name Terence Thornton - would be slightly concerned that barely anyone gave him the credit for something of this stature, but Stoute remains certain that "nobody was upset" with the situation.

Still, if you ask us, the news being announced by the CEO of the marketing firm behind the campaign more than a decade later makes Pusha T one of the suavest rappers around.
