Sacha Baron Cohen explains Borat deleted scene where he was supposed to take part in a fake porn film

Perhaps a director's cut one day?

While promoting his new film Grimsby Sacha Baron Cohen has revisited many of his old characters, including both Ali G and Borat.

The former he reprised at this year’s Oscars ceremony, giving a controversial speech about diversity at the awards.

In 2015, he put on the moustache to play Borat on Jimmy Kimmel, mocking presidential frontrunner Donald Trump. Now, on another late-night US show, the comedian spoke about a deleted scene that never made it into the film’s final cut.

Apparently, Borat took part in a porno in which he played a room service person at a hotel. However, when asked to perform the sex act, he told the director he couldn’t get aroused because - well - just watch the clip.

In another segment on the show, Cohen took to the streets to ask strangers how they felt about Sacha Baron Cohen, to which one person said he was nearly as bad as Saddam Hussein.

According to our critic, his latest film isn’t actually that bad, awarding it four stars. Other publications haven’t been quite so nice about Grimsby, which is out in cinemas now.
