Suicide Squad extended cut trailer teases new Harley Quinn and Joker scenes
13 extra minutes of footage will be added when the film is released digitally on 28 November and on Blu-ray on 5 December
Halloween is over - the memories of its revelries marked now only in a littered trail of 'Daddy's Little Monster' t-shirts and 'Damaged' temporary tattoos.
Though Warner Bros.' Suicide Squad was trashed by critics and saw huge drops in its box office numbers, the film still earned a healthy gross and left its mark on the cultural scene; as evidenced by the fact pretty much everyone dressed up as the Joker and Harley Quinn for Halloween.
A perfect time, then, for the studio to remind fans that the film's home entertainment release is just around the corner; with a new trailer dropping for the film's extended cut, promising 13 minutes of extra footage.
If the new clips are anything to go by, most of what's added will revolve (unsurprisingly) around the Joker and Harley Quinn; specifically, the Joker footage teased in the trailer that never showed up in the final film, which drew so much ire from fans that one even tried to sue Warner Bros. for false advertising.
Indeed, Jared Leto has teased that there's enough footage of his character for a Joker film of its own; the question is, whether the additional scenes will actually add anything to the film, considering Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice's Ultimate Edition actually benefited from the extra half hour added on.
Suicide Squad: Extended Cut will be available digitally on 28 November and on Blu-ray on 5 December.
