Die Hard, possibly the most satisfying of all the Eighties actioners, is granted a fifth outing and it's sloppy. Bruce Willis's hardnut is tasked with retrieving his estranged CIA son (Jai Courtney) from Russian imprisonment.

Pointless tosh that sullies your memory of the first magnificent outing.
