A wiry, wild-eyed Matthew Fox tries his best as a deranged serial killer, but nothing can rescue this deeply unpleasant adaptation of James Patterson's crime novel.
Tyler Perry unconvinces as the super-smart ("This is a guy who can tell you had scrambled eggs for breakfast at a hundred yards") detective Alex Cross who loses his moral compass when matters get personal. Edward Burns and Jean Reno sport the deadest of eyes throughout this feebly constructed effort.
