Julia Roberts is pantomime-level awful as the wicked Queen eager to dispose of her pretty young charge, Snow White (played by a bored-looking Lily Collins), in this clumsy, unfunny adaptation of the creepy Brothers Grimm fairytale.
It criminally lacks Disney's songs, it changes the names of the seven dwarves (why an earth would they do that?), and it reduces the usually reliable Nathan Lane, as the Queen's henchman, to a hammy hack. Not, by any stretch, the fairest of them all.
