“I'm starting to think this is the most spiritual place I've ever been,” maintains Selena Gomez's vacant Faith about her spring break in the Sunshine State. Harmony Korine is clearly trying to channel Sissy Spacek's Holly from Badlands, but fails. As does this voyeuristic film. Angel and her three psychotic, bikini-clad pals befriend a gold-toothed, pistol-waving nincompoop (James Franco, ludicrous) and it all unravels. A depressing and shallow satire of American youth culture.
