“I'm nine feet tall, I weigh six hundred and forty three pounds, got a bit of a temper on me,” maintains Wreck-It-Ralph (voiced by John C Reilly), a lonely arcade-game villain who longs for acceptance.
To that end he escapes from his own game, Fix-It Felix Jr, to a modern, first-person shooter in order to bag himself a gold medal, which he hopes will impress his fellow arcade game characters. After a strong, often funny (particularly the Monsters group therapy session), first half hour this Disney animation loses its way.
