"How come nobody tries to be a superhero?" wonders Dave Lizewski, teen nerd.

The answer comes to him as he is beaten to a pulp on his first "mission": because it hurts. With his nerves shredded, Dave's alter ego Kick-Ass is born and becoming a vigilante legend, he's drawn into a campaign against a mob boss.

Aaron Johnson is excellent; Nicolas Cage superb at an Adam West impression; and Chloe Moretz surprisingly potty-mouthed. Ultra-violent, but also ultra-fun.
