Dr Strangelove, Kubrick's crowning achievement, is sadly missing but the seven films in this nicely packaged Blu-ray collection are still, well, awesome.

Even the weaker, more frustrating films, like Eyes Wide Shut, hold some interest; namely Sydney Pollack's deliciously sinister millionaire. However, the highlights are The Shining, A Clockwork Orange and Full Metal Jacket, while Lolita, 2001 and Barry Lyndon are not exactly second-rate. There are many exquisite, kinky, disturbing images here, but young Danny Lloyd riding his tricycle down the Overlook hotel's hallways in The Shining takes some beating.
