Reverend Cotton Marcus, a cocky, loquacious evangelist preacher, invites a documentary team to film his "last exorcism".

He has lost faith in the demon-ridding business, and has clearly lost faith in God. He is considering going into "real estate" instead. Before he does, he wants to prove what a swindle exorcism is, so he takes the two-person documentary crew to a remote Louisianan farmhouse to debunk the whole business. Here they encounter a "possessed" 16-year-old girl, Nell (Ashley Bell), her hostile brother and their sozzled dad. Patrick Fabian excels as the minister in this effective chiller, which has clearly been influenced by The Blair Witch Project and REC.
