What it says on the tin. The latest from DreamWorks is a cartoon about a tubby panda named Po (voiced by Jack Black) who longs to be a kung-fu fighter but doesn't want to disappoint his dad's hopes of handing on the family noodle restaurant.

But what if he's chosen to be the legendary Dragon Warrior, destined to defend the city from the evil snow leopard, Tai Lung? The script, by Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger, of the great TV cartoon King of The Hill, means there's no shortage of smart lines, and Jack Black tears into them.

How the chump becomes a champ entails the familiar blather about "being yourself", but the animators do fantastic work on the stunts.
