Letter: Celtic's open gate
Sir: Deborah Orr's "Fighting like rats and frogs" (Review, 2 June) was spoiled by her statement that Celtic Football Club once had a policy of signing players of its "own religious persuasion", which it has now withdrawn.
It has never had such a policy, the proof being that both the greatest manager and player (Jock Stein and Kenny Dalglish) in its history were Protestants.
