Letter: Darwin's rival
Sir: Robert Smith asks, "Why is it that so many pro-God scientists are physicists and those against are often biologists" (letter, 25 August). Pascal observed that physicists were involved in studying the infinitely large as well as the infinitely small and trying to find the ultimate theory underlying everything. He believed that these objectives led to God.
