Sir: Can any of your readers explain the difference between two cultures, one in which the President first denies, then admits, inappropriate sexual conduct with a 19-year-old member of staff but continues in office, the other in which a Cabinet minister is robbed at knife-point and feels obliged immediately to resign not one but two public offices?
