Letter: EU to the rescue

Sir: Lawrence Boxall (letters, 30 July, 5 August) is playing with words and using language usually associated with the UK Independence Party. Mary Wane (letter, 2 August) explained in a clear and objective way what the corpus juris is, and what its purposes are; Mr Boxall, based on an explanatory sentence in the programme used at its launch, jumps to the conclusion that it will replace our criminal legal system.
