Letter: In brief

Sir: In the days of President Ronnie there was a survey that showed that Americans' geographical knowledge was a bit dodgy; Britons' was not much better. But your headline "Clinton flies West to keep Allies united" (29 April) could show that things have not improved, or it's a well-kept secret that Mongolia and Korea are with us on this one; or maybe in spring he chose the pretty route.
