Letter: In Brief
Sir: Now that we have discovered that a Middle Eastern nation currently in occupation of the territory of a neighbouring state in contravention of Security Council resolutions is importing the ingredients of a dangerous chemical weapon ("Sarin gas materials `on crash plane'", 1 October), may we assume that there will be an urgent meeting of the Security Council to impose punitive sanctions that can be lifted only once a team of weapons inspectors have visited every scientific establishment in Israel and destroyed all weapons of mass destruction?
