Letter: Nail-bomb courage

Sir: Why is it that racist groups are always called "right wing"?

Is there any evidence to suggest that the groups behind the recent London bombings support, for example, capitalism, laissez-faire economies and free trade? Or is it just an excuse to demonise the right?

You'll find that racism is just as much a part of the left as the right, as recent events in the Balkans show. A phrase that more accurately describes the motivations of the bombers is "racist".
