Letter: Off the road
Sir: Hundreds of bicycles are parked each day at every major rail station. Their riders are presumably adding to the pressure on public transport at their destinations. A simple measure to reduce congestion would be to require train operators to provide adequate space for free transport of passengers' bicycles. A convenient rail-cycle combination might induce many people to switch from driving into towns.
