Brooklyn dance-pop/psychedelic duo MGMT is streaming its new album Congratulations after it was leaked online. Due out officially April 12, the album can be heard free as of March 22 on the band's website.

"Hey everybody, the album leaked, and we wanted you to be able to hear it from us," said the band members in a statement on their site. "We wanted to offer it as a free download but that didn't make sense to anyone but us."

Congratulations is the follow-up to 2008's Oracular Spectacular, which went platinum in the UK and Australia and was named best album of 2008 by NME Magazine. The band has described the new album as "a collection of nine individual musical tours de force sequenced to flow with sonic and thematic coherence."
