Blogger buzz continues to build around a new '80s pop revival track released by Belgian electronic artist Stephen Fassano, aka The Magician, who recently left the group Aeroplane for a solo career. Also claiming a top spot in The Hype Machine's most blogged artists chart on September 26 is Swedish up-and-coming singer Amanda Mair.

The Magician recently released a track called "I Don't Know What to Do" featuring artists Dane Jeppe Laursen, known as Jeppe, and Plastic Plates, and bloggers have been talking about the new song for weeks. "The Magician can do no wrong. Neither can Plastic Plates, and neither can Jeppe," writes blogger Uh Oh Disco, adding that the new track is "pure nu-disco bouncy goodness."

Another hot topic in the music blogosphere is newcomer Mair, who recently released two singles, "Doubt" and "House," from her upcoming debut album, due out next year via Swedish label Labrador. "Mair is what a young, Swedish Dusty Springfield produced by Kate Bush would sound like," describes blogger Kick Kick Snare. "With melodies lit by sunlight and a voice that goes straight to the heart, this is nothing less than pure magic."
