Eagles of Death metal's Jesse Hughes says 'till nobody has guns everyone has to have them'

Eagles of Death Metal frontman Jesse Hughes has deleted all of his controversial comments about school shooting survivors.

On Monday, Hughes went on a now-deleted Instagram tirade calling March For Our Lives protesters "disgusting vile abusers of the dead."

In his series of posts, he included an array of memes and images with one even comparing gun control to a man castrating himself to prevent rape.

"The Whitney Houston song about letting the children lead the way wasn't actually had operating paradigm for life," he wrote under the cartoon. "And when the truth don't line up with your bulls**t narrative just hold your breath and stamp your feet and refused to except [sic] it... then take multiple days off of school playing hooky at the expense of 16 of your classmates blood...!... it might be funny if it wasn't so pathetic and disgusting..."

He continued saying, "As the survivor of a mass shooting I can tell you from first-hand experience that all of you protesting and taking days off from school insult the memory of those who were killed and abuse and insult me and every other lover of liberty by your every action."

Hughes added that the "disgusting vile abusers of the dead" should live "as long as possible" so that they can be "cursed" and live with "shame."

The Eagles of Death Metal frontman also used one of his posts to slam Parkland shooting survivor and protester Emma Gonzalez, posting a Photoshopped version of her ripping a copy of the US Constitution (the original photo showed her tearing up a gun range target) which was made viral among right-wing groups.

Alongside the manipulated photo he wrote, "Behold……the Awful Face Of Treason…..survivor of Nothing….Lover of Treason…..enjoy your little moment…..it’s about to End…… #stupidity #hatersofliberty #loversofsatan #borntolose #2ndamendment."

In 2015, Eagles of Death Metal had been performing at the Bataclan when the Paris attacks happened.leaving 130 people dead with hundreds injured.

Following the attacks, Hughes voiced his criticism for gun control saying it encouraged the attack and even claimed the massacre was an "inside job."

In an interview with iTélé Hughes asked, "Did your French gun control stop a single person from dying at the Bataclan? If anyone can answer yes, I’d like to hear it, because I don’t think so."

While Hughes' posts have since been deleted, screengrabs are available on Consequence of Sound.
