How to watch Glastonbury 2016 live on TV, iPad and iPhone

Not on the farm? There's no need to miss out

You can livestream six of Glastonbury's main stages on the BBC's Glastonbury website (Rex)

One of the many great things about Glastonbury is that even if you failed to bag a ticket in the annual scramble, you can still watch it live from the comfort of your sofa (which, let’s face it, beats a muddy, possibly even flooded tent any day).

Glastonbury coverage will be available on your TV, iPad and iPhone, with the BBC already releasing its schedule for a weekend of top-notch tunes. There will be highlights programmes presented by the likes of Jo Whiley, Lauren Laverne and Huw Stephens each evening so you can catch up on the best of what you have missed that day (full lineup and stage times here). Glastonbury will also be live on the interactive red button from 7pm.

Further coverage of more than 100 artists will be available on iPlayer and the BBC Glastonbury website, where there will be live HD streams of the six main stages - Pyramid, Other, John Peel, West Holts, Park and BBC Introducing (full lineup and stage times here). Users will be able to ‘follow’ the artists whose sets they want to watch and share their own “Glastonbury lineup poster featuring their must-see acts”.

The BBC Music app is a new feature this year, free on iOS and Android. There, music lovers can find exclusive full sets and tracks from the festival.

This year’s Glastonbury is headlined by Muse, Adele and Coldplay, with Disclosure, New Order, LCD Soundsystem, James Blake and Sigur Ros among other stage bill-toppers.
