It’s been a huge year for TV host James Corden cemented by the fact one of his “carpool karaoke” segments is the year’s most-watched video.

YouTube has released the list of its biggest viral hits and sitting at its peak is the version featuring Adele.

The video has racked up an admirable 138 million views since the singer joined Corden back in January.

The top 10 list is as follows:

1. Adele Carpool Karaoke – “The Late Late Show with James Corden”

2. Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen – Piko-Taro

3. What’s Inside a Rattlesnake Rattle? – What’s Inside

4. The Switch ft. Cristiano Ronaldo, Harry Kane, Anthony Martial & More – Nike Football

5. Grace VanderWaal: 12-Year-Old Ukulele Player Gets Golden Buzzer – NBC’s “America’s Got Talent”

6. Water Bottle Flip Edition – Dude Perfect

7. Channing Tatum & Beyonce’s “Run The World (Girls)” vs. Jenna Dewan-Tatum’s “Pony” – Spike’s “Lip Sync Battle”

Such is the success of Carpool Karaoke that it’s to get its own spin-off show on Apple Music. The latest artist to feature on Corden’s Late Late Show is Madonna.

Elsewhere, YouTube released its top ten most viewed music videos of the year, with US collective Fifth Harmony racking up a staggering 1.7 billion views for their song “Work from Home” featuring Ty Dolla $ign.
