Neon Jungle split up after two years to 'continue journeys individually'

The girl group has separated after releasing one album, 'Welcome to the Jungle'

British girl group Neon Jungle has split up after two years to pursue solo projects.

Shereen Cutkelvin, Asami Zdrenka, Jess Plummer and Amira McCarthy said the decision to split was “heartbreaking” but they had all agreed it was “time to continue our journeys individually”.

The band, whose hit singles included “Braveheart” and “Trouble”, released their debut album Welcome to the Jungle in July 2014.

In a post on their Facebook page, the band wrote: “Neon Jungle are Ohana. Ohana - formed by all the love and support we have received over the past couple of years.
