Prince passed away on Thursday (21 April) at the age of 57 leading to an outpouring of tributes from all over the world.

Fans far and wide flocked to venues the musician had played at and multiple radio stations hosted impromptu street parties to celebrate the acclaimed superstar's life.

Just like with David Bowie in January, many venues across London are paying remembering the icon by hosting nights dedicated to him.

Should you be wanting to pay tribute in the form of dancing the night away while revelling in his music, below are the places in the capital you can do so over the coming week.

In typical quick speed fashion, The Shacklewell Arms are hosting an evening in Prince's name with all proceeds going to War Child.

Purple Rain: Celebrating Prince Rogers Nelson - Brooklyn Bowl, Greenwich

The perfect venue to watch a full screening of 1984 film Purple Rain topped off with a DJ set consisting of Prince tracks all night long.

It's free entry for anyone wearing satin at this tribute event - embrace your inner Prince and get on down to Dalston for the West Satin Press-hosted evening.

Spend your Tuesday night like no other and get down to this Kingsland Road venue where DJs will be spinning the musician's songs all night long.

29 April

Rather touchingly, this one's been planned for a while now but will no doubt take on an added poignancy ensuring it's a night to remember. Karaoke, purple cocktails and a Prince shrine - this is a must for any fan regardless of level.
